As the owners of a beloved establishment in Brooklyn, the Sullivan family has fond memories of Brennan & Carr. Ever since the restaurant opened in 1938,  Brennan & Carr has been specializing in serving hot roast beef sandwiches to the Brooklyn community and beyond. Alice Sullivan and her son Russ worked for the original owners, George Brennan and Edward Carr. In 1970, Russ and his wife Ursula purchased the restaurant. The menu has expanded, but it's the roast beef sandwiches that attracts the crowd and maintains a loyal following
